TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Every order is accepted subject to these Terms and Conditions. Every order is subject to availability. All transactions are in pounds sterling and we only deliver to Mainland UK* (we are able to deliver goods internationally - please contact us).

DELIVERY:

Please ensure that you enter the FULL correct postal address - business names omitted from commercial addresses means items cannot be delivered. We can only send goods to the cardholder's address. If goods are undelivered due to the delivery service being unable to deliver, the full cost of redelivery will apply for goods returned to us. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered to your specified address. If despatch is delayed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control we will notify you, but most deliveries are received within 3-7 working days. If the Post Office or courier leaves a missed delivery card, you are required to follow the guidance on the card promptly to arrange an alternative delivery or collection from your local Post Office as we cannot be responsible for non-collection of your goods.

THE LAST ORDER DATE FOR CHRISTMAS FOR FIRST CLASS PARCELS IS 20th DECEMBER 2013.

It may not always be possible to send parcels by Royal Mail due to their size or weight. We deliver either by courier or by post to addresses in mainland UK, whichever is the least costly route. Delivery charge is £5.95 to an address in mainland UK* (*we are able to deliver some goods overseas - please contact us for details).

For larger, heavy orders or antiques, delivery charges and lead times vary so please contact us with any queries on 01423 339371. Please note that we are unable to split deliveries when holding items on back order. Occasionally, the combination of goods or the weight of goods ordered may result in a higher delivery charge than the £5.95 default, but we will contact you in this instance with the option of  agreeing to the additional charges or being able to cancel your order if you are not willing to accept the higher delivery cost. Goods can also be collected in person from our store in North Yorkshire. 

DELIVERIES OVERSEAS: We have managed in the past to help a few overseas customers with orders, so please do drop us an e-mail telling us your postcode/zip code and letting us know exactly what you might like to order and we can let you have a delivery price (usually in the region of £10.00-£20.00 depending on weight and size). It is really the smaller items that we can help with - heavier and larger items are usually too expensive to ship: sales@Atelier-Home.co.uk

RETURNS:

All goods are carefully checked prior to posting to ensure that they are in perfect condition. Every care is taken with packaging to ensure that your order arrives in prime condition. If you have a complaint, please contact us by e-mail immediately and always within 48 hours of receipt of the goods: Caroline@Atelier-Home.co.uk.

You may cancel your order for a full refund*, unless goods have already been despatched (*we cannot refund bespoke, special orders or made to order items).

If you are unhappy with goods* purchased from ATELIER Home & Garden you may return them to us in their original condition with the original packaging intact within 5 days of receipt (*this does not apply to bespoke, special order or made to order items). Please ensure that all goods returned are very carefully packaged as we cannot refund goods that are damaged in transit and are not in resaleable condition when they arrive back with us. 

Please carefully repack the items in their original condition and with all packaging and labels intact and send them to: ATELIER Home & Garden Ltd. The Tin Shed, Unit 1, Gilsthwaite Lane, Kirk Hammerton. North Yorkshire YO26 8DS. 

ATELIER Home & Garden cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of returned goods or if they are damaged in transit to us. Refund of postage will only be made for faulty goods and in all instances will be limited to the amount you were charged for delivery in your original order (usually £5.95). When goods are received back to us in perfect condition, we will issue a refund limited to the value of the goods.

PRIVACY POLICY:

ATELIER Home and Garden will not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store  our details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your  browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the  other features that use cookies.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY:

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption.  They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.  They are not held in clear text on any web site.

How To Find Us:

From the A1(M), take the A59 towards York. At the A59 Whixley/Cattal crossroads, turn right off the A59 towards Cattal and then left after 50 yards into Gilsthwaite Lane. Continue along this road and pass underneath
the railway bridge. Turn left into ATELIER just after the bridge.
There is parking on site.
