Broste Copenhagen Nordic Sand Butter Dish

Broste Copenhagen Butter dish is a sweet little 7cm diameter and 2cm high and is suitable for serving a wide variety purposes from butter, to tapas, to sauces, teabag holder. The Nordic Sea range offers a colour range varying from the palest green-grey to a rich blue and the finished colour depends on the oxidisation process and how the ceramic glaze reacts to the oxygen in the air when removed from its firing oven. This creates a wonderfully varied range of ceramics that very much has the appeal of artisan made products, but at an affordable price. The glazed finish can sometimes be quite pitted and sometimes has very little pitting. Every single piece is different and does make quite a talking point around the table.
